Why Group Coaching at Better Gym?
You've probably tried a gym before. Maybe it stuck. Maybe it didn't.
Most gyms give you equipment and a monthly bill. We give you something different — a structured training plan, a coach on the floor with you every session, and a community that actually knows your name.
Because after 35, how you train matters more than ever. Not for how you look — but for how you'll feel, move, and live in ten, twenty, thirty years from now.
That's what we mean by training for longevity. And that's what Group Coaching at Better Gym is built for.
Strength Training for Longevity.
After 35, we naturally lose muscle mass and bone density every year — unless we actively train to keep it.
Strength training isn't about looking a certain way. It's about staying capable, independent, and strong for the decades to come. It's about being able to get down on the floor and back up again. Carry the groceries without your back giving out. Keep up with your kids or grandkids without needing to sit out.
Every rep you do here is an investment in the version of you that's still doing all of that — twenty years from now.
What a Better Workout looks like.
Every Group Coaching workout is 40 minutes. Structured, coached, and purposeful from start to finish.
You'll be led through a proper warm-up, guided through your exercises with a coach, and finished with a high-five from other members and coaches. No wasted time. No guesswork. No wondering what to do next.
Every movement is coached. Your compound weight is tracked. Every workout builds on the last.
In. Trained. Out. Back to your life.
We Test & Measure Your Strength.
Most gyms let you guess. We measure.
Every 6-week training block works towards our quarterly 5RM Testing — Back Squat, Bench Press, Deadlift. You'll see your numbers on paper. And you'll see them go up.
That's the difference between exercise and training.
Exercise is showing up and moving. Training is showing up with a plan, measuring progress, and getting stronger over time. You can exercise for years and stay exactly the same. Training changes you.
Real numbers. Real progress. Real strength.
Coaching That Actually Coaches.
Every workout is led by one or two qualified coaches on the floor with you — not standing at the front demonstrating. They watch every rep, they cue your setup, and they spot you on your heavy lifts.
If you're new, they'll show you exactly what to do. If you've been training for years, they'll help you push safely to lift heavier and see progress.
That's not a class. That's coaching. It's the difference between showing up and actually improving.
